SAIC Awarded $19 Million Contract From PNM Resources, Inc.


SAN DIEGO andMCLEAN, Va., July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a prime contract by PNM Resources, Inc. to provide data outsourcing services. This single-award contract has a five-year base period of performance, three one year options and a total contract value of $19 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily inAlbuquerque, N.M., andLittle Rock, Ark.

PNM Resources is the largest electricity and natural gas provider inNew Mexico. Under the contract, SAIC will provide services including production control; data backup, recovery and incident management, operations monitoring and notification; on-call support; logistics and project, and health and safety management. SAIC will also provide systems administration, maintenance and configuration services.
