SCAN Health Plan Arizona and SCAN Long Term Care Appoints Thomas Lescault President of Arizona Operations
PHOENIX, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The boards of directors for SCAN Health
Plan Arizona and SCAN Long Term Care announced today the appointment of Thomas
Lescault as president of SCAN'sArizona operations, effective immediately. In
Arizona, SCAN offers a health plan for Medicare and Medicaid-eligible
individuals and also provides long-term care services to individuals enrolled
in the state's long-term care system inMaricopa County.

Lescault replaces Henry Osowski who has been overseeing SCAN Arizona since
its launch in 2006. Osowski will now return to focusing on his role as the
parent company's senior vice president of corporate development, exploring
other expansion and business opportunities around the country.

Lescault brings to his position more than three decades of diverse
healthcare leadership experience, particularly in the managed care arena in
Arizona. For the past seven years, Lescault has served as founder and managing
partner of MRG Group, a national healthcare consulting firm. He has also held
leadership positions with locally based Arizona Physicians IPA, Intergroup of
Arizona and Health Net. Earlier, Lescault had served in various executive
capacities with theState of Arizona.
A graduate of Princeton University and a resident ofParadise Valley,
Lescault has been active for many years in a wide variety of local
organizations, including serving on the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation board of
directors, the Area Agency on Aging Advocacy Committee, and the Valley
Leadership Program and Arizona Town Hall.
SCAN Health Plan Arizona is a Medicare Advantage contractor currently
offering a Medicare Special Needs Plan for beneficiaries also enrolled in the
ALTCS program. SCAN Long Term Care offers services to nearly 2,000
beneficiaries who are enrolled in the ALTCS program inMaricopa County. Both
are part of the not-for-profit SCAN Group that for more than 30 years has been
focusing on the unique needs of people with Medicare and Medicaid. In addition
