MidSouth Bank, N.A. Revamps Customer Service With Oracle(R) CRM On Demand and Call Center On Demand

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --

-- Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) today announced that MidSouth Bank, a growth oriented financial institution with 34 locations and 120 ATMs throughout southernLouisiana and southeastTexas, has chosen Oracle(R) CRM On Demand and Oracle's Call Center On Demand for a major overhaul of the company's customer service.

-- After evaluating six other vendors, MidSouth Bank decided Oracle was the company that met its vision for workflow, built-in analytics, and support and communication through a technology partnership.

-- Selecting Oracle will help MidSouth Bank meet many of its business goals for the project, including: increased sales and revenue; 360-degree holistic customer view; contact and campaign management; a fast ROI; better reporting of sales and marketing efforts; lead tracking and sales revenue forecasting; pipeline management; and reduction of manual processes.

-- MidSouth's technology goals include little to no in-house IT management; enhanced data integration and data integrity of customers; built- in analytics tools; ability to integrate with open source; and capability of CRM applications to parse to other web-browser based products.

-- Once the second phase of deployment is completed later this year, MidSouth Bank will benefit from a new, optimized Oracle implementation that focuses on leads, contacts, opportunities, financial accounts, service requests and dashboards that integrate with core financials.
