Teksouth Promotes Michael Rhodes to Vice President of Local Operations
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Teksouth Corporation
(http://www.teksouth.com), a veteran systems integrator providing data
management and business intelligence systems worldwide, today announced that
Michael Rhodes has been promoted to Vice President of Birmingham Operations.
The move places Rhodes, one of the principal architects of Teksouth's
innovative approach to data management and business intelligence, in charge of
all Government and commercial development at the firm'sGardendale
headquarters, located outside ofBirmingham. A ten-year veteran of Teksouth,
Rhodes served as the primary engineer of an award-winning architecture that
resulted in the company being awarded a $17.2 million contract to provide
ongoing services for the United States Air Force's largest financial data
warehouse. That system, the Commander's Resource Integration System (CRIS), is
the company's flagship accomplishment: a multi-terabyte data warehouse
supporting more than 14,500 concurrent users Air Force-wide, including the
Office of the Secretary of the Air Force and all major USAF commands. Rhodes
has served as CRIS program manager for the past three years.

year, Teksouth has significantly expanded its base beyond its work for the
Department of Defense to include numerous contracts, providing business
intelligence support to firms in the financial services, healthcare,
manufacturing sectors such as Regions Financial, Compass Bancshares, Colonial
Bank, and McWane Inc.
Cited by SQL Server Magazine as a first runner-up for the "SQL Server
Innovator of the Year" in 2005, Teksouth currently has 140 employees in
Alabama,Washington, DC, and worldwide, 30 of whom will report directly to
Rhodes.
