Lead Time Technology Celebrates Its Tenth Anniversary

During the nineties, four DuPont engineers developed patented statistical forecasting and inventory planning algorithms improving DuPont's responsiveness to customer demand. The models account for most operating variables, supply and demand lead times and their distribution. LeadTime Technology(TM) base technology was implemented at several DuPont businesses as well as select customers.

With the encouragement of DuPont, they founded Shipman Enterprises in mid-1998. The company's mission provides practical integrated process consulting and decision support tools that simultaneously optimize decisions across the supply chain supported by unique technology providing visibility and the most profitable process control to "end-to-end" material flow.

In 2004, Shipman Enterprises became Lead Time Technology to better represent the value it brings to market. LTT has also released its Fast>>Forward product providing optimization to the SMB market and Jewelry-TRAK, designed for jewelry manufacturers and distributors.

This year, LTT added industry veteran, Rich Sherman, president, Gold & Domas Research to its board of directors, announced a development/sales partnership with ColdCypress,Pittsburgh, PA, and, was accepted to Microsoft's High Potential Partner Program.
