VCF, JustEnough Partner to Support Members in Supply Chain Collaboration

JustEnough announced today its sponsorship of
VCF (Vendor Compliance Federation). By its support, JustEnough joins other
featured industry leaders spearheading new technologies and directions
facilitating true supply chain collaboration between retailers and
suppliers.
"VCF exists to bring retailers and suppliers collaborative solutions that
extend along the entire order-to-cash cycle," said Mark Jones, Managing
Director and Chief Operating Officer of VCF. "We seek to work with emerging
leaders, like JustEnough, that can share in this vision and bring
additional value to our membership."
JustEnough brings their expertise in demand planning and collaboration to
the VCF membership. Part of that expertise involves providing education
around the tangible benefits that collaboration, such as sharing POS
(Point-of-Sale) data, brings in managing inventory across the supply chain.
It also involves sorting through the perceptions that each group has about
collaboration.
"Retailers and suppliers may question the risk and the value associated
with collaboration," said Todd Kolber, VP of Sales for JustEnough. "Our
goal is not only to prove the value of using POS data, it's also to give
VCF members and the industry at large, a way to use the data to plan their
business more effectively. With collaboration, suppliers reduce their
capital investment around their service level commitments while retailers
get better fill and better sell-through in their stores because the product
the consumer wants is in stock. It's a win-win."
"The more that collaboration takes root in the industry, the more retailers
will join in sharing POS data," said Jones. "As that happens, more
suppliers will look for help and encouragement so they don't become
overwhelmed. JustEnough is among the industry innovators providing
technologies and solutions to help address these collaboration issues."
Supporting VCF also gives JustEnough an opportunity to learn from VCF's
retailer/vendor community and understand key issues that they face
throughout their supply chain.
"Being part of an organization like VCF gives us a way to connect with this
community with a louder voice than before," said Kolber. "Through this
partnership, we can be on the leading edge on conversations in the industry
and then take those conversations back to our table so that we provide the
right products to solve the industry's challenges."
