Lockers Get a Makeover This Back-to-School Season With Words; Keep the Numbers in Math Class
Wordlock(R) Gives Consumers a Customized and Easy Way to Remember Lock Combinations, While Ensuring Maximum Security

News Facts
This back-to-school season, students can keep personal belongings
secure in their lockers with W-O-R-D-S, not numbers. Wordlock® Inc.
developed a family of combination locks that can be used with lockers,
bikes, backpacks or anywhere else a standard numerical combination lock
might appear.
Students will no longer need to remember long numerical locker
combinations and can instead select easy-to-remember four- or five-letter
words that have meaning and reflect personal interests such as: S-P-O-R-T,
D-A-N-C-E or best friends' names, like B-R-A-D or S-A-R-A-H.

Wordlock provides maximum security with thousands of word and letter
combinations to choose from to ensure nobody guesses the combination. The
lock is all metal construction and the shackle is made of hardened steel.
The word and letter codes can be easily reset as often as needed.
For kids who enjoy riding a bike to school or cruising the trails with
friends on the weekends, Wordlock offers a colorful line of cable bike
locks that replace bike lock keys and numerical combinations that are often
lost or forgotten.
Bike locks are 5-feet long made with heavy-duty, weather-resistant,
braided-steel cable.
Choose from thousands of word and letter combinations such as T-I-R-E,
P-A-T-H or F-A-S-T. The user-friendly bike locks are available in hip
colors like pink, red, black and blue.
Wordlock bike locks retail for $14.99; prices may vary.
Wordlock also offers a line of combination locks that can be used to
lock backpacks during the school week or luggage on weekend get-aways;
travel locks are Travel Sentry® approved.
The modern and customizable padlocks come in a variety of colors
including red, pink, silver and black. Wordlock padlocks retail for $9.99;
prices may vary.
Wordlocks are currently available at select Target (bike locks and
padlocks) and Walgreens (padlocks) stores across the U.S.

About Wordlock® Inc.
Wordlock Inc., founded in 2007, creates innovative products with the
consumer in mind. The company's first product was conceived by founder,
Todd Basche, because no one in his family could remember the many numerical
combinations on padlocks around his house. Todd went shopping to find a
lock that used words instead of numbers. When he couldn't find one, the
Wordlock was born. The Wordlock family of combination locks -- for use with
luggage, bikes, lockers or anywhere else a standard numerical combination
lock might appear -- uses easy to remember words instead of numbers. The
Wordlock was recognized by the US Patent office as one of the top new
inventions of the year in 2003. For more information, visit
