Linksys By Cisco Announces Setup Support for Mac OS X
IRVINE, Calif., June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Linksys(R), a Division of Cisco,
and the recognized leading global manufacturer of voice, wireless, and
networking hardware for home, Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) and the small
business user, today announced that it is now supporting router setup for Mac
OS X v10.4 and higher users with its Linksys EasyLink Advisor (LELA) Setup
Wizard. LELA helps take away the hassle and complexity of setting up a router
by using simple easy-to-understand terminology and illustrations to guide
consumers through the process.
Setup Wizard
LELA Mac Setup Wizards for select Linksys Wireless Routers, including the
WRT310N, WRT160N, WRT110, and WRT54G2 are available now for download from
http://www.linksys.com/mac. Going forward, new Linksys products will ship with
a LELA setup disc that includes both PC and Mac Setup Wizards.
Customer Support
Linksys has also expanded its award-winning Customer Advocacy support
capabilities to service its current and future community of customers who are
using Macs with Linksys by Cisco routers. Over time, Linksys will continue to
expand this support infrastructure to better address the needs of families,
businesses, and creative professionals worldwide.
