Norandex Building Materials Distribution Acquires Area Vinyl Siding Distributors, LLC

Under terms of the agreement, Area Vinyl's two locations -- inWalker, LA, andGonzales, LA -- will operate under the Norandex Building Materials Distribution name, with company president and owner CJ Serpas becoming Norandex District Manager remaining in charge of both locations, as well as Norandex's existingNew Orleans branch. All Area Vinyl employees will be retained.

The acquisition strengthens Norandex's position in the growingSoutheast Louisiana market, which the company has identified as a key growth area for building materials distribution.
