NSK Salutes Military Friends and Families at Michigan Speedway

"NSK is pleased to be the corporate sponsor of the MIS Salute to Military Families program for a second year," said Jerry Hope, Vice President of Human Resources for NSK. "We are honored to be able to share a NASCAR experience with members of the United States Military in appreciation of their selfless contribution to our country."

The U.S. Military has a longstanding relationship with NASCAR. The Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard have all been involved in the sport, and NASCAR is a strong supporter of the military, holding events to recognize the contribution of military personnel and raise money for their families. The tickets provided by NSK for the LifeLock 400 were given to families whose lives currently are or have been affected by military duty.

A NASCAR Sprint Cup race averages attendance of more than 120,000 spectators -- in fact, 17 of the 20 most attended U.S. sporting events are NASCAR races.

"The NSK sponsorship of the Salute to Military Families program gives family and friends of the military the chance to have some fun at our racetrack," said Roger Curtis, President of MIS. "The military already has a huge presence in the sport, but NSK Corporation is making that presence even larger at our speedway.
