Intel and CREDANT Technologies to Host an Educational Executive Event on Top Data Security Compliance Issues

Executives understand that data is no longer confined to the four walls of their business. As organizations begin to address security issues posed by data that becomes portable, they are turning to their colleagues who have taken action to solve this problem. Intel and CREDANT Technologies are hosting an educational executive breakfast event, "Protecting Your Data ... Wherever It Is," featuring discussions on key topics related to legal and regulatory issues and success stories from leaders in the IT security community who have implemented solutions.

The first in a series of executive breakfast events will be keynoted by Benjamin Wright who is the author of numerous books on technology law, including The Law of Electronic Commerce and Business Law and Computer Security. He maintains a well-known blog called HACK-igations. He often serves as featured speaker at industry conferences and professional meetings, and he teaches data security and e-discovery law at the SANS Institute. Mr. Wright, an IT security compliance expert will discuss securing data from insider threats and the legal imperative. In addition, a panel of industry security experts will discuss best practices used to protect sensitive data and to manage and enforce the security of that data. Speakers include:
