Smiling Faces at Folsom Thursday Night Market

It was a beautiful evening, light cloud cover, bright and warm, a touch humid, but definitely not hot. Perfect weather for the market.
The craft booths were all bustling, great quality products, with the clown, airbrush tattooing, art, crafts and on the 800 block, the farmers stalls.
Outside the Hacienda, the sounds of cellos drew a big crowd.
I bought some juicy sweet cherries, fabulous strawberries from Johnny Rodriguez, white and yellow nectarines and yellow peaches from two different booths, a wonderful growing lettuce and squash from Nod Neleh and juicy blackberries - which we ate with yoghurt, for dessert this evening.
There were lots of people with happy, smiling faces and it seemed much more calm than the Thursday Night Markets of last year. That's what the organizers were working towards.
