Hillary Clinton, We Miss You
By Robert Paul Reyes
We've all suffered from Clinton fatigue, the ubiquitous power couple has been a staple of TV news and talk radio since the 1990's.
But I'm suffering from Hillary withdrawal symptoms; for the last week there have been no sightings of the pantsuits-clad senator. This is remarkable development for a politician who is as attracted to the cameras as a moth is to a light bulb. I need a fix of Hillary; I miss the cackle, the death stare and the crocodile tears. Not to mention that Hillary provided endless fodder for my articles.
According to staff members, Hillary is enjoying much-needed time with her family. She is taking a vacation and won't return to the senate until July.
Wait a minute! For the last 17 months, while she ran for president, Hillary was missing in action from the senate. Aren't taxpayers paying her to represent New York in Congress? How can she get away with blatantly neglecting her job and still collect a paycheck? Hillary and her husband have earned over a $100 million in the past few years, she should donate her senate salary to charity.

If I spent all of my time at work online looking for another job, I would promptly find myself unemployed. If I were a resident of New York I would demand that Hillary cut her vacation short, and immediately return to the senate.
If Hillary is adamant about not returning to her day job until July, the least she can do in the meantime is make a few speeches supporting Barack Obama. A lot of Hillary's middle-aged female supporters are still disappointed and angry; she needs to let them know that she wholeheartedly supports Obama.
In her concession speech Hillary declared:" I'm going to work my heart out to make sure that Senator Obama is our next President."
Hillary, it's time to deliver on your promise.
