APFinancial Hits Par For Childrens Charity

PHOENIX (EWORLDWIRE) Jun 18, 2008

By a factor of 200 from AP Financial, the strength and force of AP associates was multiplied and applied to supporting activities of the United Healthcare Children's Foundation with a golf and charity event at FireRock Golf and Country Club in Fountain Hills, Ariz.

Since opening a handful of years ago with three offices and three people, another handful - five - of new offices and staff - of 200 - have grown to epitomize goodwill and translate into good deeds by AP Financial. The golf outing was expected to raise over $120,000 for the foundation.

The United Healthcare Children's Foundation was attractive to AP Financial as a worthy cause, said Senior Partner Jeffrey Junior, in part because of its focus on supporting children who have medical needs who are not insured comprehensively, to provide coverage for all of their medical treatments.

"It simply feels good to give back to the community," said Junior. "The smallest ones in our communities who are most in need find a substantial ally in the United Healthcare Children's Foundation. After years of growth, the aggregation of our individual contributions to support others actually seems to have a distinguishing impact."

According to Junior, there are few places for families who have gaps in their commercial health benefit plan coverage to turn to for funding medically necessary services for their children. Children may go without necessary treatment, or, they receive the care and families assume a large amount of debt. "The Foundation drives these needs home, and the organization steps forward to help cover the gap," added Junior.

The United Health care Children's Foundation is a non-profit Section 501(c)(3) charity funded in part by the generosity of individuals and corporations like AP Financial.

"While we continue to expand our network of offices, into California and Georgia, we are putting plans in place which will allow us to continue to put our efforts behind supporting philanthropic activities. Although the activities may only represent a small portion of what our business is, our business' participation represents a significant part of the character of who we are as individuals working for the collective benefit of others," explained Junior.

Joining Jeff Junior from AP Financial are principals of the firm, Jennifer Ryan, Robert Keeper and Trevor Christofaro.
