The International Institute for Software Testing (IIST) Announces: Software Testing Certifications Now Attainable by Taking Online Classes

MINNEAPOLIS, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to the increased demand for the Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) and the Certified Test Manager (CTM) certifications in the international community, IIST is proud to expand the CSTP and CTM certification programs by making these esteemed certifications attainable online, to a worldwide audience of Software Testing and Quality Professionals. Unlike exam-based certifications, education-based certifications are the only way for test professionals to learn practical methods and techniques, helping them do their job better and maximize their performance. Completing the educational requirements and the exams online is great way to attain CSTP or CTM certifications at your own pace, place and time.

"Creating the courses and exams leading to these certifications available online will allow test professionals around the world to benefit from the same course material we teach in classroom sessions," said IIST Chairman and CTO, Dr. Magdy Hanna. "All of our online courses are taught by the same world-class practitioners and experts who teach our classroom sessions. Participants will have 30 days to go through the course recording as many times as they wish so that they can learn at their own pace. They can then decide to take the certification exam online whenever they feel they are ready to do so." Dr. Hanna added, "It is very important to note that because the educational requirements of these certifications are divided into 10 different courses, with each course having its own exam at its conclusion, individuals interested in pursuing these certifications can decide to complete the educational requirements over any period of time up to five years based on their schedule and available budget. These Courses are also available to individuals and organizations that might not be interested in completing the certification but only wish to gain practical advice to help improve the results of their test process."
