Ladies Think of Shopping as Often as Men Think About Sex

"London: Whether it is that new pair of Manolo Blahnik heels or that must-have H&M skirt, thoughts of indulging in ´retail therapy´ dominate young women's waking hours as much as thoughts of sex dominate young men´s minds.

The findings is quite evident from the study, which has shown that 75 per cent of young women think about shopping almost as often as young men think about sex.

Thoughts of buying that new dress or a much sought-after pair of shoes pop into their heads every 60 seconds, while men are believed to think of sex every 52 seconds, according to a survey by fashion website cosmopolitan.co.uk."

Newsflash: A survey by a fashion website comes to the startling conclusion that women think of shopping as frequently as men think about sex. I have a sneaking suspicion that a survey by a gourmet ice cream Web site would come to the conclusion that women think of ice cream as frequently as men think about sex.

However I do think there is some validity to results of the survey. Go to any mall and you will see the guys checking out the girls, and the girls checking out the window displays. Not to mention that the old reason the men were in the mall, is that they were dragged there by their girlfriends.

Females are obsessed with shopping; I once had a girlfriend who cried out "Macy's" in the throes of passion. Just joking, but I wouldn't be too shocked if it ever happens.

What's a sex-obsessed guy gonna do when all his girlfriend thinks about is shopping? A dude's only hope is to go shopping with his lady friend, and hope for a quickie in a dressing room at Nordstrom.

Or perhaps a fellow can get his lady in the mood by exclaiming: Look honey, I bought you a $100 Macy's gift card just because I love you so much.
