World Golfers Invited to Play in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 8: The pro-Indian Kashmiri chief minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad has invited golfers from across the world to play in Kashmir.
Talking to media on the sidelines of a golf tournament, Kashmir's chief minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that Kashmir with breathtaking natural beauty, soothing climate and a world class golf course has a great scope for promotion of golf tourism.
He said that Kashmir has a vast scope for golfing and one could play golf here for about 7 months in a year because of the pleasant weather.
The Royal Springs Golf Course in Srinagar is one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world located in the Zabarwan foothills with superb ambience. He invited golfers from across the world to come and play golf in Kashmir. He said that golf tournaments can promote tourism in a big way.
He also said that the foreign players will love to play on the beautiful golf courses in Kashmir.
