Spanish Broadcasting System Announces Promotion of Joe Mackay in Chicago

Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) (NASDAQ: SBSA) announced today the promotion of radio industry veteran, Joe Mackay, as General Manager of 107.9 WLEY FM in Chicago. SBS is the largest publicly traded and Hispanic-controlled media company in the United States.

Joe MacKay currently serves as Director of National Sales for SBS and also is the National Sales Manager for 107.9 FM "La Ley". He will maintain these day to day responsibilities.

Prior to joining SBS in 2005, he was the National Sales Manager for WPWX-FM 92.3 and WSRB-FM 106.3 in Chicago. In addition, he also held a variety of sales and marketing roles for companies like Emmis Communications, CBS Radio, Lego Systems and Coca-Cola Bottling.


"MacKay has extensive radio industry experience and is a proven leader." said Marko Radlovic, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of SBS. "We are confident that Joe will be a valuable contributor to the future success of "La Ley" for years to come."
