EU Trademark secured by Songsurfer Corporation

The Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Trademarks and Designs), which is responsible for registering Community Trademarks in the European Union, affirmed registration of the trademark, "SONGSURFER," on April 25, 2008.

Songsurfer Corporation currently holds registered trademarks for the brand, "SONGSURFER," in 29 countries, including in the United States and Canada.

Claus Altvater, president of Songsurfer Corporation, emphasizes the importance of properly securing a brand name. Altvater stated: "We will continue to further strengthen our brand name, 'SONGSURFER.' We have already in 2007 applied for trademark registrations in China, India and Japan to accomplish our goal.
