Axis Technologies Receives Unprecedented Interest and Qualified Leads in Company's Daylight Harvesting Ballasts at Lightfair International 2008

Axis Ballasts Displayed in Other Booths by Fixture Manufacturers and Distributors

Axis Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AXTG), a designer, manufacturer and marketer of a proprietary line of energy saving and daylight harvesting electronic dimming ballasts for the commercial lighting industry, has just returned from a highly successful demonstration of the company's patented daylight harvesting fluorescent light ballasts in the Daylighting Pavilion at the Lightfair International Trade Show & Conference. Axis was one of only 27 companies that displayed in the Daylighting Pavilion which is reserved for those select companies that qualify to showcase their "green" daylight harvesting products.

Lightfair is one of the world's largest lighting tradeshows and took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 28-30. The show was attended by more than 18,000 lighting distributors, lighting engineers, architects, building facility managers, manufacturers' representatives, government officials, "Green" building officials, lighting fixture manufacturers, Energy Service Companies, etc. The Axis ballasts were also included in several other company's display booths as part of their new fixture line-up.

Kip Hirschbach, CEO of Axis Technologies, Inc., said, "This was our fifth year of displaying at Lightfair, and this show drew far and away the most interest from attendees in our ballasts. There were many times that all five of the Axis personnel at the display booth were busy talking to interested attendees. The fact that several fixture manufacturers showed their new 'energy-efficient' fixtures with Axis ballasts installed was especially noteworthy, and shows that the Axis dimming ballasts are being accepted as the ballast of choice for daylight harvesting applications. A preliminary review showed a total of over 500 leads for follow-up by Axis distributors and reps." Hirschbach emphasized, "This burgeoning interest has contributed to Axis sales in 2008 already surpassing all of 2007 sales and we look forward to a record year in both revenue and profitability."

Investors interested in being included in the company's e-mail database for industry updates and company press releases are invited to send an e-mail to ir@axistechnologyinc.com for inclusion.

About the Axis Ballast:

A standard "ballast" is an electronic component that regulates voltage in light fixtures. Axis Technologies Group, Inc. has developed an innovative new ballast with the aim of expanding daylight harvesting into mainstream lighting applications. The patented Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting Ballast is a new technology that transforms the ballast, a once standard lighting industry staple, into a dynamic energy saving system that can reduce lighting energy costs by up to 70%. The Axis Ballast utilizes an individual photo sensor to automatically adjust the amount of electrical current flowing to the light fixture and then dims or increases lighting in conjunction with the amount of available sunlight. The Axis Ballast avoids "over-lit" conditions that increase energy costs by harvesting and utilizing free daylight from windows or skylights. As the amount of available daylight fluctuates, the Axis Ballast keeps lighting "tuned" to the desired level in a designated area.
