The Sportsman Channel Accelerates Subscriber Growth With New Comcast Launches
NEW BERLIN, Wis., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sportsman Channel announced
today new launches on several Comcast systems includingTwin Cities, MN;
Richmond, VA; centralPennsylvania;Independence, MO;Kokomo, IN;Olathe, KS;
Redhouse, WV; Western WI; and theChico, Grass Valley,Yuba City andOroville
systems inCalifornia.
Today's news follows the recent announcement of a new television strategy
for InterMedia Outdoors, Inc. (IMO), parent company of The Sportsman Channel
(TSC), that will shift all its programming -- including such popular shows as
Guns&Ammo TV, In-Fisherman, Petersen's Hunting and Shallow Water Angler -- as
well as many other content resources to The Sportsman Channel to build the
channel into the country's leading outdoor network.
