Rejection of Constituent Assembly (CA)'s decision

On behalf of the patriots, democrats and religious diaspora, the Nepali Nationalists Organization (NNO), USA, condemns the decision of the Constituent Assembly which was composed with the threats, intimidation, killings, propaganda, fear tactics and booth capturing.

In short, no acceptance to the CA's decision which lacks people's genuine verdict. Therefore, no decisions that can have far reaching effects declared or adopted be binding upon the people unless they endorse directly through the referendum. Otherwise, that should be declared null and void. People of Nepal has no reason to adhere to the declaration of CA which they have never authorized for.

The geopolitical situation and divergent ethnic bases never permit Nepal to be a Republic. Specially the Republic of weaker nature (Ceremonial/Constitutional Presidential system) is not what Nepal can digest. The Ceremonial/Constitutional Presidential system cannot and will never replace the Constitutional Monarchy. The Ceremonial/Constitutional President will never have the legacy of uniting force henceforth enjoyed by the institution of Monarchy.

The personal character of Nepali leaders like that of Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Lokendra Bahadur Chand, terai based leaders or others will even complicate the volatile nature of ethnic divergence. Because of these leaders, any kind of ethnic violence might erupt.

To thwart the very likely future ethnic clashes, the system of Constitutional Monarchy is a must for Nepal. Of course, the majority of the Nepalese citizens would like to have Hindu Constitutional Monarchy for their country. Thus, Nepali Nationalists Organization (NNO), USA, as per the wishes of the majority people demands for the restoration of Nepal as the Hindu Kingdom.

The tradition and culture of hundreds of ethnic groups in Nepal have no meaning without the Kingship. The inheritance of the system of Kingship in a culture of so many ethnic groups, the prayers are never complete without giving Monarchy some kind of respect during their religious ceremonies. It is therefore, Monarchy's presence is associated with the tradition, culture and religious activities of Nepal which cannot be taken very lightly. We, very humbly request the leaders of different political parties to think about the culture, tradition and religious practices of Nepal and restore Hindu Kingdom with an immediate effect. Failing to accept our demand for the restoration of Hindu Kingdom will be dealt likewise.

The Nepali Nationalists Organization (NNO) USA, request all patriots, democrats and religious people to have patience. We also request the members of Ranabir Sena, Defense Force and all other patriotic organizations not to step up for the violent activities. We must take care of lives of every individual Nepali citizens. We request you all to come under one umbrella which will be established very soon to safeguard our sovereignty and independence as well as our traditional and cultural values.
