Jeff Bailet, M.D., Appointed to American Medical Association's Advisory Committee
MILWAUKEE, May 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeffrey W. Bailet, MD, ofLake Geneva,
has been appointed to the American Medical Association's Advisory Committee on
Group Practice Physicians.

Dr. Bailet, an otolaryngologist, is a senior vice president at Aurora
Health Care and president of Aurora Medical Group, which has more than
670 physicians throughout easternWisconsin. In 2006, the Aurora Medical
Group received the American Medical Group Association's Medical Preeminence
Award.

physicians to help shape policy on group and faculty practices. It is an
honor to be selected," Dr. Bailet said.
Dr. Bailet was nominated by the Wisconsin State Medical Society to fill
one of two open seats. He will serve a three-year term, and replaces Kathy
Leonhardt, M.D., also of Aurora Health Care, who is completing her term. The
other seat was filled by a physician from Mayo Clinic.
The AMA advisory committee, which is comprised of representatives from
11 group and faculty practices throughout the country, advises the AMA Board
of Trustees on policy matters relating to group and faculty practices. The
Committee meets twice a year during the AMA's Annual and Interim Meetings.
