Crossfire War – Islamic Nuclear Axis-Syria-Iran-Pakistan

Crossfire War – Rapid Fire News=Tehran – Damascus – Islamabad Watch – West Asia – North – Northeast Africa Theatre: Islamic Nuclear Axis – Syria – Iran – Pakistan – Syria Suspected of Maintaining Concealed Nuclear Sites – Site Destroyed by Israel Last September Connected to Two Others

Night Watch: AL KIBAR – It is now known the Syrian nuclear weapons site at Al Kibar, bombed by Israel last September, was part of an interconnected nuclear weapons production chain linked with at least two others. Debka is reporting according to the Washington Post, U. S. officials suspect Syria is concealing other nuclear weapon production facilities not destroyed in the Israel Air Force (IAF) attack. Al Kibar was connected to a reactor built with North Korean assistance (which is why Pyongyang strongly protested Israel’s raid) and was also connected to facilities for supplying nuclear fuel rods and fuel processing for extracting plutonium. The weapons-warhead program was fueled by plutonium instead of enriched uranium and it was admitted at the time of the raid the reactor was within months if not weeks of producing nuclear weapons. That is why I have always maintained it is ridiculous to believe Iran has not been producing nuclear warheads for their ballistic missiles for quite some time using the same production process they financed for Syria and using the same technological-industrial support-export systems from China-North Korea-Pakistan. [DEBKA]

Beijing – Tehran revived its nuclear weapons program in 1986 with massive support from China who can also send it through North Korea. It would hardly take Iran longer than Syria or Pakistan to manufacture nuclear weaponry especially since Iran’s nuclear facilities have never been attacked. And this is the tenth anniversary of Pakistan setting off several underground nuclear explosions in response to India’s nuclear explosions earlier in May 1998. Today Pakistanis are celebrating that apocalyptic event and the day after Pakistan’s explosions they were visited by Iran Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi who praised what he called the Islamic bomb. Obviously Tehran wanted Syria to be nuclear ready as is Pakistan as part of the Islamic Nuclear Axis. The Jerusalem Post reports intelligence officials admit no fuel source for the destroyed nuclear reactor was ever found which is why they suspect there are other nuclear production sites not known. I suspect Syria-Iran have been manufacturing nuclear warheads for their missiles rather than nuclear bombs for their aircraft. Pakistan I believe has both and came close to using nuclear bombs on their F-16s in January 1990 when their fourth war with India nearly erupted. [JPOST]

Knesset – Israel’s leadership crisis is not only accelerating but seems to be spreading as INN reports Knesset Minister Silvan Shalom is now calling for Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni to resign as if her closeness to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is preventing her from performing her role as Foreign Minister, “It’s hard to give up the Foreign Ministry, but when talking about conscience and values, one must give up their personal position.” [INN]

Tskhinvili – Relations in the South Caucasus continue to deteriorate as the South Ossetia government in Tskhinvili is now accusing Georgia of state terrorism after a car bomb exploded in Tskhinvili Thursday. RIA is reporting a BMW loaded with 1.5 kg of TNT exploded near police headquarters injuring six people. South Ossetia President Eduard Kokoity responded by saying, “It was a planned terrorist act aimed at escalating tensions in the region and there is no doubt that the date was especially chosen to coincide with independence day celebrations in South Ossetia today. Georgia is continuing its policy of state level terrorism.” [RIA]

I cannot believe the Georgian government in Tbilisi is even aware of the date South Ossetia declared independence, something Tbilisi never acknowledged, nor is it to Georgia’s advantage to start a war with South Ossetia knowing Russia is poised to enter. But it’s to Moscow’s advantage which is why I suspect Russia set off the car bomb to increase the chances of another war breaking out in order to re-claim Russia’s control over the oil and gas resources in the region which is a crossroads of energy pipelines. Moscow also wants to attack the military support Georgia has been receiving from Ankara-Tehran and that is why industrial services in the West, led by Berlin, support Russia which has long been used by the West to export energy from here. It is symbolic the car used was a BMW a symbol of Germany’s support and the provocative act may have been the idea of German intelligence. South Ossetia and Abkhazia, on the Black Sea, both seceded from Georgia when the Cold War ended in 1990 resulting in a war until 1993 when a tenuous ceasefire was declared as Russia had to concentrate on the fighting further north in Chechnya and Daghestan.

With the fighting there, against Islamic groups supported by Turkey-Iran, now largely over Moscow is concentrating its military effort further south. In support of Russia those same industrial services in the West had former U. S. Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger arrive in Moscow in April 2007 to co-chair the Strategic Working Group with former Russia Premier Yevgeny Primakov on this the deciding regional theatre of World War III.
