June14: True Indie Band, Legend Heart, to Close 30th Annual Super Saturday Festival

Legend Heart, a true independent band from Port Orchard, Wash., is scheduled to close the show at the Evergreen State Collegeas 30th annual Super Saturday Festival on June 14 in Olympia.

Legend Heart, formed in 2003, released a debut CD in 2004 and made a debut performance at Tacomaas Pantages Theater in 2005. Since then, the group has released a second CD with plans in the works for a third.

Legend Heart members have become consummate advocates for grassroots music entrepreneurship based on the ideal that any person born with the gift of music or songwriting can create their own success when they are willing to learn and apply entrepreneurial principles and practices to their own music businesses. The band plans to continue encouraging and promoting the growth of true music entrepreneurship apart from the conglomerate music system and to promote true freedom and self-sufficiency for grassroots music entrepreneurs in the recording industry.
