Kashmiri Separatist Leader Leaves for Pakistan

Srinagar, May 26: On Monday, Senior Kashmiri separatist leader and chairman of the pro-independence JKLF, Mohammad Yasin Malik left for Pakistan.
The chairman of the pro-independence group will be holding an exhibition of Safar-e-Azadi (freedom march) he conducted across Kashmir last year. In addition to holding the exhibition of Safar-e-Azadi, Yasin Malik will also meet ministers and the heads of political parties in Pakistan.
Malik, who is a former militant commander had visited Pakistan in the past and had spoken with President Musharraf and then Pakistani Prime Minister Showket Aziz.
However, this time around it is not certain whether he would meet with President Musharraf and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Geelani.
