Marine Corp Historic Half Weekend Highlighted

Two Day Expo Features Vendors and Packet Pick-Up

The Marine Corps Marathon announced today a new partnership which will recognize Aetna as a presenting sponsor of the Healthy Lifestyle Expo, part of the inaugural Marine Corps Historic Half (MCHH), to be held May 18, 2008 in Fredericksburg, VA.

Aetna has partnered with the Marine Corps Marathon in a multi-event sponsorship that includes the Healthy Lifestyle Expo, the Marine Corps Marathon, the MCM10K and the Healthy Kids Fun Run.

"Aetna is happy to support the Marine Corps Marathon in sponsoring these valuable programs," said Mike Bucci, president of Aetna's National Accounts operation for Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. "As one of the nation's leading health benefits organization, and as a major employer, Aetna is committed to promoting wellness initiatives that encourage more Americans to lead healthy lives."

The Healthy Lifestyle Expo presented by Aetna will be held on May 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and May 18, from 6:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center. The Expo is free, open to the general public and features more 60 booths with products, information, sampling and interactive exhibits relating to health and fitness.

Packet Pick-up is also part of the Healthy Lifestyle Expo and will be held during Expo hours on May 17 only. All participants in the MCHH are required to attend, in order to retrieve their bib, t-shirt and race materials. Runners will need their E-Confirmation Card, downloaded from the MCHH website, and a photo ID.
