Indian Border Guard Dies in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 17: An Indian border guard died in Kashmir on Saturday.

Police said that the border guard identified as Subash Chander had gone into the forest to collect firewood for the kitchen of his camp at Bonyar in north Kashmir. Chander fell from the tree and received critical wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he later died from the injuries.

Indian border guards have registered a case and launched investigations.
