Retirement Living TV's Daily Cafe Looks to Denise Austin and the Humane Society for Expert Guidance
WASHINGTON, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Retirement Living TV (RLTV), the first
network dedicated to people 55+, announced two new collaborations to be
featured on Daily Cafe, a live two-hour news and current affairs show hosted
by Fred Grandy and Felicia Taylor. Fitness guru Denise Austin and the Humane
Society ofthe United States (HSUS) are the latest additions to one of the
network's most recognized shows.
Austin, known as "American's Favorite Fitness Expert," is a seasoned
television veteran who has sold over 20 million exercise videos and DVDs. She
will host a specialized fitness segment on Tuesdays featuring her signature
moves, answering audience questions, and giving expert advice for achieving
optimum physical health. She addresses health and fitness hot topics such as
ways of shrinking belly fat and lower back pain, but also delves into more
senior-centric themes including walking indoors, stretching, balance and
arthritis.
The HSUS segment, titled "Pet Care," features Stephanie Shain, the HSUS'
director of outreach for companion animals and gives viewers information about
animal health, caring, feeding and training pets. It will be featured as a
call-in segment airing every other Monday.
Daily Cafe is a live, two-hour, weekday program produced in the nation's
capital that focuses strongly on news and current affairs. Guest
correspondents include Walter Cronkite, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Arch Campbell,
Bill Press, Tony Blankley and Armstrong Williams.
