Summer Concert in the Park Series begins May 30

The Summer Concert in the Park Series kicks off the season on Friday, May 30 with the local classic rock band "Dam Road Closed."
For the next ten weeks, residents can enjoy a great evening of music under the trees at Folsom City Lion Park every Friday evening (excluding July 4th) from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
"Bring a lawn chair and picnic and sit back and relax," said Sandy Hilton, City of Folsom's Cultural Manager. "No time to grab something to eat? New this year, three food vendors will have munchies for sale; Kettle Corncopia, Sampson Smoothies and Bubba's BBQ."

Aug. 8 - "Peter Morgan Band" Jazz
The series is presented by Folsom Parks and Recreation Department and sponsored by donations made through the "Take pART in the ARTs" utility bill donation program, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, HDR Engineering, Rotary Club of Historic Folsom, Folsom Lake Bank, All Star Printing, Folsom Premium Outlets and La Bou Bakery and Cafe.
