Most Ridiculous Analogy of Being Wiccan
By Mary Lyons
That was the most ridiculous analogy of being Wiccan I have ever read in "Way Back When I was a Wiccan". This could have been about any religion and been just as bazaar.
This child was a lost soul and was raised with no loving guidance from her father. It is easy to blame others when a child makes such horrible mistakes. Where was her father when she was being abused by her boyfriend, getting involved with drugs?
Where was the congregation she was brought up in? It was people who let this child down not any form of religion. To quote Thomas Paine," All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit."
I can't help but wonder what Jesus thinks of all this madness. I doubt he wanted a Christianity that could be so bigoted, so close minded and so intolerant of anyone not just like themselves.
