How About a "Solar Power Bra" For Eco-Friendly Ladies?
By Robert Paul Reyes
"Ladies, take your battle for the environment a little closer to your heart with a solar-powered bra that can generate enough electric energy to charge a mobile phone or an iPod.
Lingerie maker Triumph International Japan Ltd. unveiled its environmentally friendly, and green colored, 'Solar Power Bra' on Wednesday in Tokyo which features a solar panel worn around the stomach." Quotation from the Reuters
A solar powered bra may make environmental sense, but it's not very practical. When I was a teenager I wasn't a smooth Don Juan; I never mastered the art of removing a girl's brassiere in one or two quick moves. I would have been completely befuddled at the prospect of removing a bra with a solar panel worn around the stomach.
There's nothing sexier than a lacy bra, but the solar panel takes away the aura of romance and mystery. I hope this solar bra thing doesn't catch on; a Victoria's Secret catalogue featuring hot models wearing solar bras doesn't do much for my libido.
This newfangled bra won't appeal to females, the solar panel worn around the stomach will make them look fatter, and they aren't going to be crazy about that. Women don't mind being eco-friendly, but not if it means they look like they have a baby bump.
If the solar panel can be sewn into the cups of the bra, thereby boosting a lady's bra size, then this crazy new solar bra might be a hit.
If Pamela Anderson wore a Solar Power Bra would it provide enough juice to light up the Big Apple?
