OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwire - May 15, 2008) - On Thursday, May 15, 2008, Lieutenant-Colonel Stephane Lafaut, recently returned from a deployment as commanding officer of the Canadian Operational Mentor Liaison Teams in Kandahar province, will provide an on-the-record overview of his experience in helping to train Afghan National Security Forces.
Senior representatives from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, the Canadian International Development Agency and the Department of National Defence will also be present during the briefing (not for cameras; attribution to senior government officials).
