"As one of the most recognizable and respected brand names, it was time
for SBE to protect itself. Relying on PCI Compliance was not enough; we wanted
'Real Security.' With Shift4's data security technology in place, it will
significantly lower the risk of a data security breach," said Steve Labrie VP
of Information Systems, SBE.
Shift4 Corporation's DOLLARS ON THE NET provides high-speed and low-cost
authorizations and settlements for credit, debit, check, private label and
gift card transactions. This system is based on Tokenization technology --
developed and publicly released by Shift4 in 2005 -- that provides world class
security by removing the merchant's responsibility for storing and maintaining
credit card information at the point of sale (POS).
From ultra-chic nightclubs to high-quality and service restaurants, SBE
remains at the forefront of innovation. Integrating Shift4's DOLLARS ON THE
NET solution into the POS systems at world-renown destinations provides
maximum protection for SBE's brand.
"As SBE continues to redefine the restaurant and nightlife industry with
sophisticated offerings and cutting edge environments, Shift4's DOLLARS ON THE
NET payment gateway lowers processing costs and provides world-class
transaction security. DOLLARS ON THE NET streamlines the guest experience
allowing SBE to focus on delivering the five-star level of service their
clients demand," said Dave Oder, President and CEO, Shift4 Corporation.
