Tiburon Awarded Contract to Provide Records Management System to Nebraska State Patrol

TheNebraska State Patrol processes approximately 45,000 reports annually. The new RMS will allow the State Patrol to consolidate and automate incident information that is currently kept in disparate databases or in paper files, thus providing more effective records and criminal investigations processing. The new system also includes an automated report writing capability for officers on patrol. Officers will be able to enter incident reports while in the field, which will allow them to spend more time in the community.

The RMS will interface with the Tiburon Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system installed for the State Patrol last year. Incident data originating from a citizen's call for assistance will be automatically transferred from the CAD system to the new RMS, providing officers immediate access to critical information.
