Long Term Investigation Focused on Convicted Felons, Illegal Aliens in Possession of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Firearms and Stolen Explosives
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., May 14 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Representatives from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team, Cullman County Sheriff's Office,Cullman Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U.S. Marshal's Service (USMS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, (ICE), Alabama State Troopers, Cullman County District Attorney's Office, Warrior Police Department, Alabama Bureau of Investigation, Alabama Department of Public Safety Hazardous Devices Unit and Blount County Sheriff's Office will host a multi-agency news conference today at 2:30PM at the Cullman County Sheriff's Office. The press conference concerns recent investigative efforts focused on illegal methamphetamine production and trafficking in the greaterCullman County area. To date, the investigation has resulted in approximately 50 arrests, the recovery of multiple firearms and a large quantity of stolen explosives.
