Lion develops unique Protective Coverall for Centricas Peterborough

Lion Apparel, the global protective equipment specialist, has developed a unique new one-piece protective coverall for employees at Centricas Peterborough power station.

The coverall was developed to detailed specification agreed with Centrica and is manufactured with Kermel Comforguard fire resistant fabric to provide the highest standard of protection to staff at the facility.

All staff at the power station have been issued with the new coverall, which is CE certified and meets the standards for protection from electric arc, as well as EN 340 and EN 531.

The garments have been supplied as part of a TotalCare solution, which means that Lion is responsible for ensuring that they are fit for purpose. The team at Lion will launder and maintain the coveralls throughout the period of the contract.
