ICOP Digital Named as One of '2008 Star 50'
LENEXA, Kan., May 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ICOP Digital, Inc.
(Nasdaq: ICOP), an industry-leading company engaged in advancing digital
surveillance solutions, today announced that it has been recognized as one of
the "Star 50" by The Kansas City Star for the second consecutive year.
The Star 50 provides a comprehensive overview of the leading businesses in
all ofKansas andMissouri, except theSt. Louis area. Companies are ranked by
sales, percentage sales growth, net income, percentage net income growth,
year-end market capitalization and percentage market cap growth. Companies
listed in the Star 50 were selected from a group of businesses publicly listed
on the Nasdaq, New York Stock Exchange or American Stock Exchange.
Based on ICOP's 2007 year-end results, the Company ranked 49th overall;
however, based on percentage of year over year revenue growth, ICOP came in at
#3.
In late March, ICOP reported that 2007 revenues climbed 79% to $11.84
million, up from $6.62 million in 2006. When commenting on the year end
