Soldier's Wife Dies of Burns in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 13: The wife of an Indian army officer died of burn injuries in Kashmir on Tuesday.

Police said that Mrs. Jakulin Marry, 26 wife of Naik Joseph, officer of Indian army received burn injuries in her residential quarter at Sharifabad in central Kashmir. She was taken to an army hospital in Srinagar, where she succumbed to injuries.

Police have registered a case and launched investigations.

The Army has also separately started a probe into the incident.
