Newswise - Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, has signed a six year agreement to serve as the publisher of the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, the official journal of both the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) and the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO). "We are pleased to engage a publishing partner who offers both expertise in the oncology field and critical access to readers, subscribers and potential authors in both the gynecological and oncology specialties," said Michael Quinn, Secretary of the IGCS. "We are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration that will help us fulfill our missions and responsibilities," added Gerald Gitsch, President of the ESGO.

"We are honored that two prestigious and reputable societies have chosen to partner with LWW," said Betsy Jones, EVP and GM of journal publishing at Wolters Kluwer Health. "LWW already publishes many of the leading textbooks, journals and other information sources in the oncology field, and we look forward to working with both the IGCS and the ESGO so that together, we can expand our content offerings in the important field of gynecological cancer."
