Supertel Hospitality to Present May 19 at JMP Securities Research Conference

Supertel Hospitality, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPPR), a real estate investment trust (REIT) which owns 125 hotels in 24 states, today announced that Donavon Heimes, Supertel's chief financial officer, will be speaking at the Seventh Annual JMP Securities Research Conference, which takes place May 19-21 in San Francisco, Calif. at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Heimes is scheduled to present at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on Monday, May 19, 2008.

A live webcast of the presentation will be available at the JMP Securities Web site, www.jmpsecurities.com. A replay of the presentation will be available on JMP's Web site for 90 days after the presentation.
