Toshiba Adds 60GB Model to Industry-Leading Automotive Hard Disk Drive Line

Toshiba's sixth-generation 60GB automotive HDD (MK6050GAC) joins Toshiba's existing automotive-grade HDD series that includes both 40GB and 80GB models. All models feature the improved altitude specification of 5,500 meters, pushing the boundaries of in-dash system design to meet the operating extremes of today's driving environment.

In addition, Wright will speak on a panel titled "Exploit the Future Capabilities of Connect In-Car Device Integration" on May 21 at 4:15 p.m. in the Ruby Room to offer insight on the role of storage in the development of the digital car.
