QBE Announces Organizational Change
NEW YORK, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- QBE announced today that Pete McPartland,
chief operating officer of QBE Regional Insurance, has left QBE to pursue
other interests.

successes during his tenure," said Peter Christen, chief executive officer of
QBE Regional inSun Prairie, Wis.
McPartland joined QBE subsidiary brand General Casualty in 1994 and over
the years managed underwriting, field and insurance operations. He served as
president and chief executive officer of General Casualty since 2003 until
becoming chief operating officer of QBE Regional last year.
In a letter to agents, Christen added that the company's commitment to its
independent agents has never been stronger, and that the company is currently
expanding its product portfolio, giving agents more cross-sell opportunities
between its business units and growing its agricultural capabilities.
