PITTSBURGH, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The winners of today's Susan G. Komen
Pittsburgh Race for the Cure(R) are as follows:
1st Place Overall Winners
Male: Pat McGuire, Charlottesville, Va., 15:14
Female: Kelly Knickelbein, Pittsburgh, Pa., 19:19
2nd Place Overall Winners
Male: Eric Burnett, 16:02

3rd Place Overall Winners

Survivor Category Winners

5K Race Prizes
First Place Finishers Male/Female: Winners received a roundtrip plane
ticket to any destination in the 48
domestic states, courtesy of
American Airlines.
Survivor Winners: Prizes generously donated by Giant
Eagle, Orr's Jewelers, The Frick
Historical Society, Renaissance
Pittsburgh and more.
First, second and third place winners in each age category received
tickets to a Pirates game as well as certificates from local retailers,
including Dick's Sporting Goods.
The 5K run began at 8:35 a.m. Runners started their run at Schenley Drive,
traveled to Forbes Avenue and ran throughSquirrel Hill viaNorthumberland and
Wightman, then down Bartlett to Westinghouse Memorial Pond, ending at Phipps
Conservatory.
This year's Komen Pittsburgh Race for the Cure event attracted nearly
36,000 participants, including approximately 3,000 breast cancer survivors.
The 5K race is sanctioned and certified by US Track & Field. A complete
