Charlotte Iserbyt Gives a Lecture On Education

In the beginning, what got Charlotte Iserbyt involved in education is finding out that what she saw at the local level unsettled her. As Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI) from the U.S Department of Education during the 40th U.S. President Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, she had access to important files of restructuring rational and global education.

Iserbyt is the author of The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, in which she explained on YouTube about her training to identify resistors to Sex, Alcohol, Suicide, Death, and Alcohol Educations: going to high-profile people such as the Chamber of Commerce and convince them of these new programs. She was trying to get "those good people" to go along with these programs.

"When you can get the leadership of the community to go along with it", Iserbyt said, "then the newspapers comes in and says, 'Look, the committee's been set up with the head of the Rotary [Club], and this and that, and they're all getting behind to discuss whether we're going to have a new sex education'".

According to her, the original program has been funded by the Office of Research since the late 1960s, and is still funded. The money then went to a University of Michigan professor who helped put everything together. Iserbyt also stated that local school board members such as principals and herself - "Normal-looking Americans", she calls them - were involved in this "very important project".

In other words, she was taught to "con the community". Iserbyt was responsible for blowing the whistle on a major technology initiative that would have control the curriculum in classrooms across America.

"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction" stated the late Ronald Reagan. "We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."
