Airship Surveillance Appoints Mangold Vice President and Member of the Board
Airship Surveillance,
Inc., a Nevada-based high technology airship company, with whom WENR Corp.
(PINKSHEETS: WNRC) has a letter of intent, formally announced today Sandy
Mangold has been appointed as Vice President of the Company and has been
elected to its Board of Directors.
"Sandy brings an exceptional background to Airship Surveillance (AirSur)
and has already met on behalf of AirSur with staff of Homeland Security,
Department of Defense, NASA, and multiple private companies and
institutions," stated Paul Adams of AirSur. "He will be responsible for
generating sales, business strategy, and overall growth of Airship
Surveillance."
Sandy is a retired Colonel from the U.S. Air Force (USAF). His experience
includes being a member of the Joint Intelligence Task Force - Combating
Terrorism (JITF-CT) at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as part of
the U.S. Air Force Intelligence Analysis Agency (AFIAA); serving as Chief,
Systems Engineering & Integration for the U.S. National Security Space
Architect's Integrated ISR Team; and serving as a Project Manager on
the Space-Based Laser (SBL) Program. He has been the Director of Arms
Control Studies at the U.S. Army War College and was selected by the
Secretary of the USAF to be the first Blue Suit USAF Space Shuttle Flight
Controller working at NASA/Johnson Space Center's Mission Control Center.
Mr. Mangold earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education (Mathematics)
from the University of Florida, Masters of Science in Systems Management
from the Air Force Institute of Technology/School of Engineering, and a
Masters of Arts in National Security Studies at the U.S. Naval Warfare
College/College of Naval Warfare. Currently, he is also an Adjunct
Professor for the University of Maryland and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical
University. Mr. Mangold is originally from Cape Canaveral, FL.
