Indian President to Tour Kashmir From May 23

Srinagar, May 9: After the Indian army chief's visit to Kashmir, India's President, Pratibha Patil will arrive on a five day visit to Kashmir on May 23.
During her visit to Kashmir, she will address Indian soldiers in forward border posts in North Kashmir. She will hold meetings with top Indian army, para-military, police and civil officials in Kashmir.
The visit is set to include some tourist spots in Kashmir to enjoy the picturesque beauty.
The President will also meet pro-Indian leaders in Kashmir and discuss the prevailing situation in Kashmir with them.
The Kashmir government will make special security arrangements for her visit to Kashmir. Security across Kashmir is expected to tighten to prevent militants staging any attacks.
