GRAVITY FREE Design Conference Comes to Museum of Science and Industry May 12-14
CHICAGO, May 9 /PRNewswire/ -- GRAVITY FREE: 2008, a design innovation
conference featuring 22 internationally known design leaders and visionaries
whose work is changing the world, will meet from Monday, May 12, through
Wednesday, May 14, at the Museum of Science andIndustry (MSI),Chicago.
Members of the media are invited to sit in on the individual sessions,
take an active part in the roundtable sessions following the formal
presentations and interview the speakers. We will be happy to arrange these

Among the speakers who will be featured at GRAVITY FREE are:
Michelle Kaufmann is "the Henry Ford of green architecture." She has
designed the "Smart Home: Green + Wired" exhibit that will open soon at MSI.
GRAVITY FREE attendees will be the first to tour this functioning three-story
modular and sustainable green home that highlights technologies for the 21st
Century.
Arturo Vittori is an aerospace designer/architect who focuses on extreme
environments during his work for NASA and the European Space Agency. His
exhibit on the future of the space race is part of MSI's Henry Crown Space
Center.
Bob Gruen is "the world's best rock 'n roll photographer." The official
photographer for John Lennon during hisNew York years, he has photographed
everyone from the Who to Muddy Waters.
Rod Keenan designs and produces hats in innovative and fashion forward
styles. Satisfied customers include Sir Elton John, Prince, Vince Vaughn,
Cedric the Entertainer, Robin Williams and Bob Murray.
