Date.com Selects ENLASO (translate.com) as Its Premier Web Site Translation and Localization Partner
Leading Online Dating Web Sites Date.com, Matchmaker.com and Amor.com Will Be Available in 18 Languages

ENLASO Corporation, a leading provider of
enterprise language solutions, today announced that Date.com and ENLASO
have entered into a partnership to localize Date.com's award winning
network of dating sites into numerous languages.
Current plans include for ENLASO to assist Date.com in translating and
localizing their three dating sites -- Date.com, Matchmaker.com and
Amor.com -- into Spanish, Portuguese, and German. Before the end of 2009,
Date.com plans to have its dating sites available in 18 languages to better
accommodate its growing subscriber base from outside the US and to assist
it in marketing itself internationally.
Date.com originally launched its flagship dating site on Valentine's Day
1997. Ever since, the Date.com network of dating sites has signed up over
20 million members worldwide and add millions of new singles to their sites
each year. Thousands of couples have begun successful relationships through
the company's network of dating sites, with an average of one marriage
weekly.
"We've had tremendous success with Date.com, Matchmaker.com and Amor.com
both in the United States and abroad; translating our suite of sites into
other languages enables us to provide our sites to millions of non-English
speaking consumers looking for love," said Date.com's CEO, Meir Strahlberg.
He continues, "We're confident that, by working with ENLASO, we'll be able
to meet our international expansion objectives."
"ENLASO is very excited to welcome Date.com to our growing list of online
dating and social networking site customers. I'm positive that their
international expansion strategy will prove to be a big success," notes
Yves Lang, ENLASO's Chief Sales Officer.
Ever since Strahlberg and Lang started strategizing about Date.com's
expansion plans when they first met in 2007, the online dating industry has
seen an increasing number of international mergers and acquisitions and the
trend seems to continue. While growth is still occurring in the US market,
research indicates that online dating is growing even faster
internationally. This plus the strong value of international currencies
versus the US Dollar make expansion into foreign markets a natural
progression for Date.com which has historically focused on marketing itself
domestically.
Date.com chose ENLASO because of its long-standing reputation as a leader
in localizing online dating and social networking sites. Lang states,
"Since the early beginnings of the online dating phenomenon, ENLASO has
successfully partnered with some of the largest and best known dating sites
in the world and our company has amassed an unparalleled amount of
expertise in providing translation and localization services to this
industry during this time."
