Atherotech to Exhibit the VAP Test at Internal Medicine 2008
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Atherotech, Inc., a
cardio-diagnostic company, today announced it will be exhibiting its VAP
Cholesterol Test in booth No. 2123 at the American College of Physicians (ACP)
Internal Medicine 2008, the premier scientific meeting for internal medicine.
The annual meeting takes place May 13-17, 2008, at theWashington Convention
Center inWashington, D.C.
People with a family history or an existing condition of diabetes, high
blood pressure or heart disease -- or who are already taking cholesterol
lowering medication -- are candidates for the comprehensive VAP (Vertical Auto
Profile) Test. In addition, those who didn't score within the desirable ranges
of the standard cholesterol test (i.e. those with Triglycerides > 150,
